One Piece: 10 Characters Who Aren't In The Revolutionary Army (But Should Be)

The Revolutionary Army is one of the biggest known powers in the world of One Piece. Led by the Revolutionary Monkey D. Dragon, this army consists of several powerful fighters who all fight for the sake of freedom and justice.

The Revolutionary Army aims to overthrow the Celestial Dragons who rule over the world and in doing so, establish a new order. They certainly possess the strength to be able to do so, but they could also bolster their ranks with a few familiar faces who would fit them perfectly.

10 Jewelry Bonney – She Is Important To The Celestial Dragons And Is Currently On The Run

Bonney is one of the Worst Generation members and she leads the Bonney Pirates. She was introduced during the Sabaody Archipelago arc. Later on, it was revealed by Akainu that Bonney has a connection to the Celestial Dragons and that she escaped from their grasp on more than one occasion. As a target of the Celestial Dragons, the perfect place for Bonney to go would be the Revolutionary Army.

9 Koza – He Was A Proud Rebel Of Alabasta And Had A Great Sense Of Justice

Koza was one of the main characters during One Piece's Alabasta arc and led the Rebel Army against the King's forces because he believed the crown needed to be overthrown for his own reasons. Koza has a great sense of justice and someone like him would fit wonderfully in the Revolutionary Army led by Dragon.

8 Koby – He Doesn't Share The Sense Of Justice Of Fleet Admiral Sakazuki

Koby was introduced in the story quite early on and befriended Luffy even before he met his crew. He eventually joined the Marines believing they were always right, but with time, he realized everything isn't always black and white. Now that Sakazuki is leading the Marines, it makes sense for Koby to leave the organization at some point and he would fit in well under Dragon.

7 Tashigi – She Follows Her Own Sense Of Justice And Is Righteous

Tashigi is, like Koby, a Captain of the Navy right now. She serves under Smoker as a member of the G-5 Unit. Although Tashigi has captured tonnes of pirates, her sense of justice is different from other Marines.

She does what she believes is right, as seen during Alabasta, where she pointed Luffy to where Crocodile went instead of capturing him, or when she apologized to Nami during Punk Hazard. With a personality like hers, the Revolutionary Army would get a great addition.

6 Smoker – He Does What He Likes And Always Fights For The Right Reasons

Famed as the White Chase, Smoker is a Vice-Admiral of the Navy in the New World. Like Tashigi, Smoker has his own sense of justice which he follows, regardless of the consequences. Although he believed all pirates were bad at one point, with time, the fine line between Marines being good and pirates being evil has vanished in his mind. Smoker also doesn't believe in Sakazuki's Absolute Justice and thus would fit in great in the Revolutionary Army.

5 Fujitora – He Is The Only Admiral Who Is Willing To Stand Against The World Government

Introduced in the story during the Dressrosa arc, Fujitora was revealed to have been chosen for the spot of Admiral through a World Military Draft. Fujitora is a kind and compassionate man, even if his appearance might suggest otherwise. He believes in Blind Justice and is willing to even sully the name of the Navy for the right reasons. A person as just as him would do an incredible job next to Dragon.

4 Crocodile – He Has Changed His Evil Ways And Had Ties With The Revolutionary Ivankov

Sir Crocodile is a former Shichibukai who once tried to take over the kingdom of Alabasta to get his hands on Pluton, but was defeated by Luffy. After his time in Impel Down, Crocodile changed his ways and was even willing to help Luffy and Ace during the Marineford arc.

What's more, he has some connection to Ivankov and in the future, he could possibly be reunited with him.

3 Aokiji – He Has Left The Navy And His Ideologies Align With Those Of The Revolution Army

Aokiji is a former Admirals of the Navy who left the organization after losing to Akainu in an intense fight at Punk Hazard that lasted for 10 days. He's currently a free man, playing his part quietly. A man with his ideologies could certainly fit in well in the Revolutionary Army and it wouldn't be surprising if he's already allied with them in secret.

2 Dr. Vegapunk – He Works For The Government But His Loyalties Are Questionable

Vegapunk is a character who everyone in the One Piece world wants to see. At a young age, Vegapunk was made to join the World Government and work for them, which he continues to do that to this day. However, it is worth noting that he's saved the Straw Hat Pirates through Kuma already. He could very well have some ties to Dragon.

1 Nico Robin – She Is An Most Important Person To The Revolutionary Army

Also known as the Light of the Revolution, Nico Robin is the archaeologist of the Straw Hat Pirates. Although she sails with Luffy, had she not met him, Robin would've been perfect for the Revolutionary Army as she holds the key to their revolution. Her goals and motivations could all have been met with Dragon and seeing the two work together is something that every One Piece fan would've loved to see.
