10 Characters Seven Deadly Sins Just Forgot | CBR

The series The Seven Deadly Sins is filled with a long list of unforgettable characters. Whether it's their backstories or their unique personalities, each character has intriguing traits that are continuously shown again and again. From the main protagonist, Meliodas, to his brother and worst enemy, Zeldris, they all have a way of remaining memorable. However, other characters seem to be forgotten by the series as their development is cut short, their stories are abandoned, or they are killed off.

While most characters seem to stay relevant throughout the anime, some characters just slip through the cracks. Some of the supporting characters are only shown briefly or don't have an extensive history in the series causing them to be forgotten, but these ten forgotten characters are far from uninteresting.

10 Denzel, Wielder Of The Two Druid-Blessed Swords

The younger brother of King Bartra Liones, Denzel, is a highly ranked official himself. He served as the Captain of the Pleiades of the Azure Sky and the Assistant Great Holy Knight.

He was a smart and confident man with an ability called Judgement, which allowed him to command dead souls to relentlessly torment the one responsible for their deaths. With his ability and his skilled swordsmanship, he was a formidable opponent and took on the strongest of enemies, like Fraudrin of the Ten Commandments.

9 Deathpierce, The Diamond-Ranked Holy Knight

Deathpierce is a man who has battled with his conflicting feelings toward the Demon Clan and the Goddess Clan for some time. He is a Diamond-level Holy Knight in the Pleiades of the Azure Sky with enough skill and ability to be deemed worthy to be Denzel's right-hand man.

His special ability, Melody, allows him to manipulate offensive magic to delay attacks. Denzel decided to distance himself from magical beings after the New Holdy War, and he now resides in his hometown, Edinburgh, among other humans.

8 Gustaf, The Late Brother Of Holy Knight Jericho

The Ruby-ranked Holy Knight, Gustaf, was the older, less popular brother of Jericho. Not much is known about him, but it is apparent that he had a rather complex relationship with his sister, whom he thought wasn't worthy of being a Holy Knight.

However, in an attempt to save Jericho from the Ten Commandments, he was fatally injured. While his attack did buy some time, he eventually died due to his severe stab wound, leaving Jericho devastated.

Alongside her sister, Zaneri, Jenna serves as the leader of the Druids in the land of Istar. She was also a member of the Goddess Clan but fled with her sister during the Hold War. Jenna is a very warm-hearted, welcoming woman who strays away from discriminating against outsiders.

6 Dolores, The Most Timid & Peace-loving Member Of The Giant Clan

Once known as Diane's best friend, Dolores was a big Giant with an even bigger heart. She did her best to avoid violent conflict and found pleasure in living a happy, peaceful life. Even though she preferred to not engage in confrontation and combat, she also wanted to prove that she was useful to her follow Giants.

Due to her meek and mild-mannered personality, Dolores struggled to find her place among the Giants. However, when Diane offered to bring her along on her mission to run away, she declined and admitted she wouldn't feel accepted anywhere else.

5 Nadja, The First Love Of Gowther, The Goat's Sin Of Lust

Recognized as the older sister of King Bartra and Assistant Great Holy Knight Denzel, Nadja was introduced into the series during a flashback into Gowther's past. She had a special relationship with Gowther that sparked when they first met in a cave hidden underneath the royal castle of Liones.

He has shown compassion for Matrone since the very beginning and even went as far as to sever her leg to prevent the poison from spreading throughout her body. He now expresses his love for her by drumming while she performs Drole's Dance.

3 Dana, The Judas Doctor Of Dalmary Town

It's not often that you distrust your doctor, but Dana, the doctor of Dalmary Town proved to be a traitor. Some would argue that he had a good reason to be so. He deeply loved and cared for his daughter Sennett, and after she was taken hostage by Golgius, Dana made a deal to kill Meliodas in exchange for the safe return of his daughter.

He injected Meliodas with a deadly poison disguised as medicine, but unfortunately, his plan didn't work. When Meliodas awoke, Golguis stabbed Dana to punish him for his failed assassination attempt, but he was later healed and reunited with Sennett.

2 Mead, The Orphan Child Who Saved The Village Of Bernia

The mischievous, orphaned boy who went from being the most hated child to the hero of Bernia is none other than Mead. Mead was proud to be a villager of Bernia and was insulted when the Holy Knight, Gilthunder, expressed his disgust when he tried the village's ale.

Upset by Gilthurder's comment, he pulled a prank on the Holy Knight that costed the whole town. Mead assured the townspeople that he knew a member of the Seven Deadly Sins who could remove the sword that restricted the water supply, and no one believed him until he returned with Meliodas, who saved the day.

1 Nerobasta, The Secret Weapon Against The Demon Clan

Known as the Goddess who resides in the sword of Denzel Liones, Nerobasta was a powerful being that was once a Divine Lance Corporal of Stigma. During the Holy War and 3,000 years before the start of the series, Nerobasta was the guardian of the Celestrial Realm who fell victim to Gowther's brainwashing.

When she came to, she realized that her side was losing to the Demon Clan and with no other option in sight, she sacrificed her body to seal the Demon Clan.
