Loki: Marvel Officially Debuts the Series' First Retro-Style Merch

Disney+'s Loki released its first series of Marvel-themed merchandise, complete with an old-fashioned color palette.

Among the products available to order on Zazzle include various bags, mouse pads and water bottles with the faces of Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Time Variance Authority (TVA) agent Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson). A similar solo image of Loki, accompanied by the quote "For All Time. Always!" can also be found on magnets, clipboards and regular posters. The other major stylistic design involves an orange and green pattern with Loki and Mobius' faces, which Zazzle features on everything from notebooks to phone cases to even table lamps.

As revealed in Loki's official trailer, the show will follow a version of Loki from Avengers: Endgame's 2012 timeline who used the Tesseract to escape Earth and Asgardian captivity. However, this results in Loki being detained by the TVA, a supernatural bureaucratic organization responsible for keeping the timeline in check, and being used as one of its new agents. In addition to showing him on various missions, the Loki trailer also teased the God of Mischief becoming legendary plane hijacker D.B. Cooper and wearing his "Vote Loki" outfit from the comics.

It's currently unknown how Loki will tie into the Phase 4 Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), though the multiverse has been hinted at in WandaVision and will be more directly explored with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. In addition to debuting alongside future Disney+ shows The Falcon and the Winter SoldierMs. Marvel and Hawkeye, Hiddleston will also voice Loki in Marvel's What If...?, an animated series following various MCU-based alternate timelines as told by the cosmic being known as the Watcher (voiced by Jeffrey Wright). Though What If...?'s Loki-centric story remains unknown, a brief clip from the show's trailer depicted him walking into the United Nations building.

Loki stars Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, Sasha Lane, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. The series arrives Friday, June 11 on Disney+.
