The Flash Faces a Classic Villain in 'Central City Strong' | CBR

The fourth episode Season 7 of The Flash will see Barry Allen battling an old foe.

The CW's official synopsis for "Central City Strong" features the return of David Dastmalchian as Abra Kadabra, who seeks vengeance against the Fastest Man Alive. Meanwhile, Caitlin Snow has issues with Killer Frost and Iris struggles with "a dark moment" in her past.

Kadabra first appeared in Season 3 of The Flash, where he battled Allen before offering to tell him who the God of Speed Savitar truly was. Kadabra hails from the 64th century, where he uses highly advanced technology to imitate the effects of magic. This is not Dastmalchian's only DC role, as he made a brief appearance in The Dark Knight and will also portray Polka-Dot Man in James Gunn's The Suicide Squad.

"Central City Strong" will also launch "Graphic Novel #3," which showrunner Eric Wallace uses to separate the story arcs in a season. Though plot points about "Graphic Novel #3remain scarce, it is set to introduce Jon Cor (Shadowhunters) in a recurring role as the icy villain Chillblaine. The first three episodes of Season 7 will wrap up plot points left unaddressed in Season 6, which was cut short due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
