DC Confirms Two Members of Justice League Queer's Roster | CBR

Aqualad and Dreamer have been confirmed to join the roster of JLQ, aka Justice League Queer, one of 16 potential series fans can vote on in the DC Round Robin fan vote.

DC Publicist Clark Bull shared artwork of Aqualad and Dreamer by editor Michael McCalister on Twitter, allowing fans to know two members of JLQ's roster for DC Round Robin. "I've done some sleuthing and can confirm that this artwork, shared by DC Editor @mikhalmc, is a legit #JLQ hint for #DCRoundRobin," Bull tweeted. "Which means AQUALAD and DREAMER are on the roster!!"

Aqualad (Jackson Hyde) and Dreamer are shown each extending an arm in the air as they jointly declare, "Vote for JLQ!" The Jackson Hyde version of Aqualad debuted in 2010's Brightest Day #4. Kaldur'ahm was a founding member of the Young Justice animated series that premiered on Cartoon Network. Season 3 of Young Justice also introduced Aqualad's boyfriend Wyynde. Nia Nal, aka Dreamer, made her first appearance in Season 4 of Supergirl. Portrayed by Nicole Maines, Dreamer is the first transgender superhero to appear on TV.

The newest members of JLQ will have featured stories in the 80-page DC Pride anthology that goes on sale June 8. Supergirl's Nicole Maines will pen a Dreamer story in DC Pride, marking the character's DC Comics debut.

JLQ is described as: "Eight young queer heroes investigate a series of monstrous manifestations around the world and discover that something much more terrifying is coming."

Round 1 of the DC Round Robin fan voting runs from March 31 through April 7, with the winners announced on April 8.
