New photos from an upcoming episode of Legacies show Hope Mikaelson and new Salvatore School student Cleo Sowande on a friendly picnic -- appearing to reconcile.
Shared by The CW ahead of Season 3, Episode 10, the new images show the pair of witches sitting down for a picnic in a wooded area. Another photo included shows vampire MG, who has been estranged from the Super Squad, leaning on a wall and looking outwards.
Following their disagreement over the treatment of the Leprechaun in Season 3, Episode 7 -- where Cleo decided to slay the monster, despite Hope's insistence to keep it alive for more intel -- it's likely that new roomies Hope and Cleo are trying to mend their friendship.
However, recently-revealed plot details via an episode promo suggest that the pair will come face-to-face with a Banshee during their picnic. The CW dropped a promo for the upcoming episode last week, which found Headmaster Alaric Saltzman explaining to members of the Super Squad, "The Banshee is a harbinger. Whenever they appear, death is not far behind." The clip also showed werewolf Jed, possessed by the Banshee, telling Hope, "Go on, little girl, Ask what you really wish to know." Hope responds, "Who's going to die?"
The latest episode of Legacies -- Season 3, Episode 9 -- found the Super Squad adjusting to Landon's return to the Salvatore School and Josie Saltzman's decision to withdraw from the Salvatore School for good, and attend Mystic Falls High School instead. The episode also found Josie moving to an iconic location from The Vampire Diaries -- Elena Gilbert's home.
The official synopsis for Season 3, Episode 10, "All's Well That Ends Well," reads,
IMPENDING DOOM — After capturing a new monster at the school, Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) and the Super Squad learn some terrifying news about one of their own. A surprise visit from Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) gives Josie (Kaylee Bryant) some much-needed courage. MG (Quincy Fouse) and Ethan (Leo Howard) team up to help others. Matthew Davis, Aria Shahghasemi and Ben Levin also star. Jeffrey Hunt directed the episode written by Thomas Brandon & Price Peterson (#310). Original airdate 4/15/2021.
