Titans Star Shares a Gotham-Themed BTS Season 3 Photo | CBR

A behind-the-scenes photo from the set of Titans teases the DC show's move to Gotham in its upcoming third season.

The photo in question was recently shared to Instagram by series star Curran Walters, who plays Jason Todd. It sees a crew member standing below a slightly rusted road sign that reads, "You are now leaving Gotham." Fittingly, Walters' caption simply reads, "GOTHAM."

Based on DC's Teen Titans comic books, Titans initially premiered on the DC Universe streaming service in 2019, with Season 2 arriving on the platform in 2019. Amid DC Universe's restructuring, Titans moved to HBO Max, which will be the exclusive home of Season 3 when it arrives. Showrunner Greg Walker revealed at DC FanDome that Titans Season 3 will take place primarily in Gotham City, as opposed to Detroit or San Francisco, the heroes' stomping grounds during the first two seasons.

In addition to the move to Gotham, Season 3 will introduce the characters of Barbara Gordon and Jonathan Crane to Titans. The new season also sees Walters' Jason Todd eschew the mantle of Robin and take on his infamous Red Hood persona from the comics. With Batman apparently in need of a new sidekick, Titans Season 3 has enlisted actor Jay Lycurgo to play the next Robin, Tim Drake.
