Not to be outdone, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations lives up to the hype of its predecessor with incredible fight scenes that leave fans wanting more. There are countless combat scenes throughout the Naruto franchise, but specific ones in Boruto truly stand out as being better than those found within the original series.

10 Boruto & His Classmates Participate In Kakashi's Bell Test

This fight is laced with nostalgia as the academy students aim to retrieve a set of bells from Kakashi Hatake, the sixth Hokage, in order to achieve the rank of Genin. As seen in Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, Kakashi doesn’t make this exam easy, and the academy students come to realize this very quickly.

However, with amazing teamwork and the clever combination of Shadow Clones, Transformation Jutsu, and a sealing barrier, Boruto and his classmates are able to snag the bells, narrowly earning themselves the rank of Genin.

9 Team 7 Works Together To Take Down Jugo

Team 7 has it rough in Boruto with the amount of trouble they end up in. This difficult battle between Team 7 and Jugo is incredible to watch.

Fans witness not only the growing strength and team synergy of Boruto, Mitsuki, and Sarada, but also Konohomaru Sarutobi’s will to protect his team and the impressive strength he uses against the heavily changed Jugo. It's especially satisfying to see his mastery over the Rasengan and its use in dealing the final blow.

8 Boruto's Jougan & Shinki's Iron Sand Stop Urashiki With Help From Sasuke

One of the most enduring villains in this series, Urashiki Otsutsuki, makes an appearance in an attempt to take the One-Tailed Beast’s chakra for himself. Unfortunately, he runs into Boruto and Shinki, who keep him back with an exciting combination of iron sand and the re-emergence of Boruto’s Jougan.

Even though this duo battled impressively, Sasuke Uchiha had to step in and save them. However, Boruto and Shinki were able to take Urashiki’s right horn, which was an incredible feat for the young shinobi.

7 Boruto, Sarada, & Chocho Fight Well Against Kako

Kako, the synthetic Dust Release user, makes for an incredibly tough opponent for the young shinobi, especially with his ability to blast everything apart. During this fight, Boruto and Chocho show an impressive level of combat skills for shinobi their age, which makes for some exciting sparring moments.

With Sarada’s Sharingan proficiency, combat skills, leadership, and tactical thinking, this trio is able to work well together to take advantage of Kakou’s faults and his tendency to overuse his powerful techniques, which eventually leads to his downfall.

6 Boruto & Mitsuki Stop Nue From Destroying The Village

Even from the grave, Lord Danzo and his experiments are still causing trouble for the Hidden Leaf Village. Nue is the result of an experiment that fused the first Hokage, Hashirama Senju’s cells with a chimera. This creation was then given to the daughter of one of Danzo’s loyal researchers, Sumire, in hopes of bringing down the Hidden Leaf Village.

However, the very opposite happened. During this battle, Boruto’s Jougan awakens, allowing Mitsuki and Boruto to destroy Nue’s power from inside of Sumire’s soul with a few well-timed moves and kunai.

5 Sakura Doesn't Hold Back Against Shin Uchiha

During the Boruto series, Sakura Haruno doesn’t make much of an appearance, but when she does, she does it with a bang. Her fight against Shin, the artificial Sharingan user, proves that she’s kept her monster strength even after becoming a mother.

Sakura uses her incredible strength and her fists to treat Shin like a punching bag to help overcome his mental manipulations-- which is an incredibly strategic move on her part. With the help of her husband, Sasuke, they are able to take Shin out using of the Rinnegan and a few well-placed strikes.

4 Sasuke Faces Kinshiki With His Rinnegan & Swordsmanship

One of the newer clans to be introduced, the Otsutsuki Clan, has shown to produce formidable adversaries throughout the story, and Kinshiki is no different. With his ability to wield the Byakugan, albeit differently from the Hyuga Clan, this fight between Kinshiki and Sasuke Uchiha is not one to be missed.

Sasuke is able to throw Kinshiki off balance with his mastery of his Rinnegan and his impressive displays of swordsmanship. Compared to his fights in Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, this show of power and strength from Sasuke is like nothing that has been seen before and well worth watching.

3 Boruto & Mitsuki Take On Shizuma With The Help Of Kagura

When the enemy is a member of Kisame Hoshigaki’s clan and also a member of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, it’s a clear sign that the ensuing battle is going to be brutal but amazing to watch—and it is!

Boruto and Mitsuki show great coordination and teamwork skills, allowing for them to battle and counter Shizuma, and ultimately defeat him. Even when Shizuma merges with Samehada, Kagura steps in and lends Boruto half of his Hiramekarei to put an end to Shizuma.

2 Boruto, Naruto, Sasuke, & Jiraiya Are All Equally Important In The Fight Against Urashiki

In the controversial Time Slip Arc, Urashiki Otsutsuki makes another appearance in this incredible final battle. Unlike most fights where someone takes center stage and the others play “back up,” these four shinobi work together equally to take down Urashiki.

This battle is riddled with struggles and nail-biting moments, but in the end, it’s Naruto and Boruto with their unified Rasengan and Sasuke’s Kirin that enable them to break through Urashiki’s incredible aura to bring down the time-hopping Otsutsuki Clan member, once and for all.

1 Naruto & Sasuke Team Up Like Old Times Against Momoshiki

If there is one fight that everyone needs to see, it’s this one. Not only is it the epitome of what shonen anime fights should be, but there’s also nothing more exciting than watching Naruto and Sasuke team up once more to protect those who they love and hold dear.

With Sasuke’s ability to wield both the Rinnegan and Sharingan and Naruto’s expert use of the Six Paths and Tailed Beast form, they are able to turn the tide of the battle against Momoshiki. However, in an incredible display of strength, it’s Boruto that actually lands the killing blow, taking out the strongest member of the Otsutsuki Clan.
