The first season of the anime adaptation of That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime was released in October 2018 and aired until March 2019. Its success led to the second season of the series, however, it was announced to be a split-cour, meaning it would be released in two parts.

The first part aired from January 2021 to March 2021, and the release date of the second part was set to be April 2021. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was delayed until July 2021, but with summer fast approaching, fans won't have to wait much longer.

Following the release of the 4th manga volume, which announced the anime adaptation of the series on the cover, the first season of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid aired from January 2017 to April 2017.

With the release of the eighth manga volume, the second season was announced and set to air in February 2019. However, due to the tragic loss of the talented director, Yasuhiro Takemoto, during the Kyoto Animations arson attack on July 18, 2019, there was a delay, but it is now scheduled to air in July 2021.

Originally introduced as a light novel, How A Realist Hero Rebuilt The Kingdom was announced in April 2021 to be adapted into an episodic animated series by Overlap. The release date for the series is set for July 2021.

The series surrounded the journey of Catarina Claes, the daughter of a noble family in an otome game, who bumps her head causing her memories of her former life as an otaku to flood back.

The second season, titled My Next Life As A Villainess: All Routes Lead To Doom X, is set to premiere in July 2021 and follow the events of the first season.

Announced in March 2020, the first season of I'm Standing On A Million Lives was produced by Maho Films and aired from October 2020 to December 2020. The isekai anime followed Yusuke Yotsuya, a young third-year student who finds himself in an alternate, game-like world.

Not unlike the many other upcoming series of summer this year, it will be released in July 2021. The series covers the love story between Naoya Mukai and his childhood best friend, Saki Saki.

Naoya, a loyal boyfriend, later finds himself in a bind when a cute, charming young woman by the name of Nagisa Minase confesses her love to him. In an attempt to avoid infidelity, Naoya hatches up a plan to form a three-way affair between Saki, Nagisa, and himself.

1 The Detective Is Already Dead Will Spark Questions & Curiosity

Earlier this year in January, the highly anticipated anime adaptation of The Detective Is Already Dead was announced to air in July 2021. The story follows the chaotic life of Kimizuka Kimihiko, who finds himself aboard a plane where an emergency breaks out.

In need of a detective, an attractive, silver-haired young woman named Siesta assigns herself to the case and appoints Kimizuka as her assistant. After embarking on an adventure of crime-solving with Kimizuka, Siesta unexpectedly dies, leaving Kimizuka to return to his mundane life before meeting a woman who looks exactly like her.
