Disney+ released a new promo for what's coming to the streaming platform in May, which includes a sneak peek at the hightly anticipated Star Wars: The Bad Batch and Cruella.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch will debut on May 4th -- aka Star Wars Day -- with a supersized 70-minute premiere. On May 28, Cruella will premiere on both the streaming service with Disney+ Premier Access for $30 and in theaters. Disney+ employed a similar release tactic for Raya and the Last Dragon and will do the same for its upcoming Black Widow film.
Other films coming to Disney+ include Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer on May 7 and X-Men: The Last Stand on May 14. Television shows arriving in May include the remaining episodes of Mighty Ducks: The Game Changers and new episodes of the sports drama Big Shot. All of which can be glimpsed above in the Disney+ teaser reel.
Cruella will serve as an origin story for the 101 Dalmatians villain -- tracking her beginnings as a fashion designer before her inevitable fall from grace.
The Bad Batch will see its title characters deal with the fallout from Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith as they battle the Empire and discover the last living clone, who is named Omega.
Created by Dave Filoni, Star Wars: The Bad Batch stars Dee Bradley Baker and Ming-Na Wen. The series premieres May 4 on Disney+.
Directed by Craig Gillespie, Cruella stars Emma Stone, Emma Thompson, Paul Walter Hauser, Joel Fry and Emily Beecham. The film arrives in theaters and on Disney+ Premiere Access May 28.
