Jujutsu Kaisen's star is Yuji Itadori himself, but this anime's first season also spends plenty of time on its supporting characters, Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki. What is Nobara like? Her cursed technique is based on voodoo dolls and nails, and she has a tough and headstrong personality that serves her well in combat.
Nobara is rather brash and confrontational at times, and that might turn some people off or give a poor impression. Still, Nobara is a good person at heart, being a cooperative teammate and a compassionate friend who wants to bring out the best in others. Her ideal boyfriend would have a personality similar to hers, or perhaps he would have a contrasting personality to balance out Nobara's while having a strength of spirit to match.
10 Yuki Sohma, The Rat Spirit (Fruits Basket)
Yuki Sohma is surprisingly well-adjusted, given the burden of the Sohma curse that he bears. He is the Rat spirit of the zodiac, and while he is confident in his abilities and carries himself with dignity, he also suffers from imposter syndrome and wonders if he will ever be truly free from Akito's iron grip.
Still, Yuki's outward strength and good looks would definitely get Nobara's attention, and Yuki's firm handling of troublemakers and delinquents would impress her further. If Nobara got to know him better, she would definitely encourage him to stand up to Akito more, and take his side against the family head.
9 Elfman Strauss, The Beastly Wizard (Fairy Tail)
Elfman Strauss is the middle sibling, and like his sisters, he can use Take Over magic to enhance his physical abilities in combat. In particular, he morphs into beasts, and he narrowly defeated the martial artist Bacchus during the Grand Magic Games. That, and his macho confidence, would endear Nobara to him.
Nobara likes gung-ho and gutsy people, and Elfman balances his tough-guy routine with his deeply compassionate side. He would give up anything for his sisters and friends, and he is confident but not arrogant or self-absorbed. Nobara would get along great with him.
8 Caesar Zeppeli, The Hamon Bubble Master (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)
Caesar Zeppeli, the grandson of Baron Zeppeli, is quite proud of his family's legacy for using the Hamon ability, and Caesar is quick to defend and honor his grandfather's memory against anyone who would tarnish it. In battle, Caesar is gung-ho and brave and dares his friends and foes alike to keep up.
This kind of bravado is just what Nobara wants in an ally or a potential date, and Caesar's good heart and his rugged good looks would round out this package nicely in Nobara's eyes. She might be tempted to learn Hamon herself.
7 Sokka, The Water Tribe Hunter (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
At first, Sokka thought that "female warrior" was an oxymoron, given the utter lack of them back home in the Southern Water Tribe. But he quickly changed his tune when he met the Kyoshi warrior Suki and fought alongside powerful girls such as Toph Beifong and certainly his own sister, Katara. How about Nobara?
Sokka would find Nobara's tough, no-nonsense attitude refreshing, and Nobara, in turn, would appreciate Sokka's practical and down-to-earth ways, not to mention his resourceful battle tactics. Together, they could take on any foe, and build a serious friendship along the way.
6 Eijiro Kirishima, The Headstrong Hero (My Hero Academia)
Here is another shonen young man whose tough, manly attitude would appeal to Nobara while not being arrogant or conceited about it. Eijiro Kirishima doubted his own powers at first, but after he learned from Mina Ashido's example in middle school, he resolved to become a great hero no matter what and emulate the manliest hero of all, Red Riot.
Eijiro is friendly and compassionate, but never will he show any weakness or fear in battle. He is devoted to becoming an honorable and inspiring manly man, and Nobara would find this irresistible. She has no patience for wishy-washy or timid people, that's for sure.
5 Chad, The Gentle Giant (Bleach)
Yasutora "Chad" Sado is just as tough as he looks, and in his boyhood, he was a bully who took out his frustration on others every day. Eventually, he learned from his grandfather Oscar what true strength is, and he learned to become a semi-pacifist. Never again will he abuse his strength.
Nobara would find Chad a bit boring at first, being such a quiet and unassuming fellow, but then Chad would open up to her, and Nobara would realize what a noble and kind (not to mention tough) person Chad is. His cool-headed ways also complement Nobara's temper quite well.
4 Metal Bat, The Punkish Hero (One-Punch Man)
The hero Metal Bat may remind anime fans of a handful of cool punks in anime, from Josuke Higashikata to Ichigo Kurosaki, and this would endear him to Nobara Kugisaki, who has a punkish streak of her own. Metal Bat is an aggressive fellow, but not a cruel one. He knows his duty as a hero.
Metal Bat's cool-guy charisma and confidence would definitely draw Nobara to him, and he would see her as a kindred spirit and take an interest in her. It helps that Metal Bat has his gentle side, especially in regard to his sister Zenko, and that would prove to Nobara that Metal Bat is a kind fellow after all.
3 Ban, The Immortal Sin Of Greed (The Seven Deadly Sins)
The "bad boy with a heart" streak continues with Ban, the fox sin of greed and a direct subordinate of Meliodas. In the original story, Ban was romantically linked to the fairy Elaine. But if Elaine were out of the picture, then Nobara would be next in line to capture Ban's heart.
No doubt Ban would be thrilled to meet a cool and confident girl like Nobara, who can back him up in a fight with style. Ban is a compassionate and caring person, as his relationship with Elaine proved, and he also generously cooks for the other Sins, showing his gracious side.
2 Edward Elric, The Fullmetal Alchemist (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood)
Edward Elric, who is indeed the titular Fullmetal Alchemist, is a hot-headed boy who has a heart (and hair and eyes) of gold. Edward is stubbornly determined to save innocent lives and bring justice to evil, though he tends to get in over his head at times. Good thing he has his brother Alphonse Elric around to back him up.
In many ways, Edward and Nobara are alike, from their tough and punkish exterior to their fierce desire to see justice served. They are also creative and resourceful fighters who will risk it all.
1 Roronoa Zoro, The Three-Bladed Swordsman (One Piece)
Roronoa Zoro sometimes comes off as cold or stern, but he means well, and the same is true of Nobara Kugisaki. Zoro greatly values loyalty, honor, and friendship, and Nobara wouldn't find any fault in that. She would also appreciate Zoro's courage and aggression in battle, even when facing a powerful foe such as his great rival, Dracule Mihawk.
In turn, Zoro would think that Nobara is one cool chick, a brave girl who uses a stylish (and scary) curse technique to slay cursed spirits without mercy. If they can find a little more common ground outside of combat, they may forge a deep and strong relationship indeed.
