Pennyworth Looking to Move to HBO Max for Season 3 | CBR

Pennyworth, the action drama following the adventures of Batman's butler in his younger years as an ex-soldier turned security expert, might be moving from Epix to HBO Max.

Warner Bros. TV -- which produced the Batman-inspired series -- is currently negotiating a deal that would allow Pennyworth's first and second seasons to stream on HBO Max, as reported by Deadline. In addition, the deal would grant Epix rerun access for Season 3, if a future season of the show is greenlit. At this time, a Season 3 for Pennyworth is unconfirmed.

Pennyworth premiered on Epix in 2019 before the May 2020 launch of HBO Max, which has since become the home for several existing and upcoming shows based on DC properties. Some, like DC's Titans and the adult-oriented animated series Harley Quinn, migrated to HBO Max from the DC Universe streaming service.

HBO Max's upcoming DC Extended Universe projects include a Green Lantern series, a Peacemaker spinoff series helmed by The Suicide Squad's James Gunn and a spinoff series inspired by the upcoming film The Batman that focuses on Gotham City's Police Department.
