The pairing of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Cobra Kai stars would bring two of the hottest karate properties together for the first time. Created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles debuted as a comic book in 1984 before being adapted into a popular animated series in 1987. Since then, there have been various comic book series, television shows and movies featuring the four turtles.

Cobra Kai began as a YouTube original series in 2018 and ran for two seasons. It's a spinoff set 35 years after the events of Karate Kid and follows Johnny Lawrence and Daniel Larusso as adults. Netflix picked up the series for Season 3, with Season 4 of Cobra Kai recently wrapping filming.

Cobra Kai stars William Zabka, Ralph Macchio, Courtney Henggeler, Xolo MaridueƱa, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni DeCenzo, Peyton List and Martin Kove. Seasons 1, 2 and 3 are currently available to stream on Netflix. Season 4 does not currently have a premiere date.
