10 Gifted Anime Characters Who Are Good At Everything | CBR

In real life, everyone has flaws and lives a life with ups and downs. But in the world of anime, characters don't have to endure the problems of reality. Some characters are simply good at everything without question. There are characters who seem good at everything, from academics to athletics and maybe even the arts. In other words, these are the characters the audience wishes they could be.

They might have a vice here and there to make them a little bit more human. Then again, these characters might just revel in how awesome they are, which makes them come off all the more memetic.

10 Ah! My Goddess: Belldandy Loves Collecting New Skills

Belldandy has a lot of talents, both supernatural and mundane, from cooking to fixing machines. It's once explained that she likes to accumulate talents and skills and, being a goddess, she certainly has a lot of time to master them.

One catch is that she can lose her powers at times, which is implied to even take away her skills with earthly habits. Added to that, she also needs a license at times to use certain powers, even if she already has them.

9 Black Clover: Yuno Combined Talent With Training

Known for his powerful Wind Magic, Yuno was already born with immense magical potential, which didn't stop him from training his magic. Because of this, characters initially think he might have a good shot at becoming the Wizard King.

That said, his peasant background does cause people to still look down on him, but with enough time he's able to get other people's respect. On the other hand, he is capable of losing and it actually makes the normally stoic Yuno quite bitter

8 Doctor Slump: Arale Is Smart & Strong Enough To Take On Saiyans

Arale is a young robot girl who has a huge list of talents. She's an ace at sports and fighting. She does well in her academic studies. She's even once shown to be a talented artist. Whenever a character shows prowess in any skill, Arale usually is close by to prove she can do it better.

It's implied that Arale benefits from being the heroine of a comedy series since she can be the best at anything without it making a lick of sense. In a crossover story, she's even shown powerful enough to take on Saiyans. Despite her skills, however, she is also known for causing trouble for Senbei, her creator.

7 Dragon Ball: Goku Can Master Skills Just By Watching Someone

Goku can learn skills just by observing, to the point that he even immediately picks up on how to counter them. He becomes the strongest person on the planet at a young age, and this isn't simply from being a Saiyan on Earth, since he's even able to take on and overshadow elite Saiyans from time to time. Being the hero, he is also able to defeat seemingly invincible threats on a regular basis.

Possibly thanks to his Saiyan heritage, he's also capable of eating more food than his stomach can logically hold without usually gaining an ounce, except for the occasional gag.

6 Haruhi Suzumiya: Haruhi Is As Talented As A Reality Warper Should Be

Nothing seems to be too taxing for Haruhi, whether it's academics, athletics, or even the performing arts. If anything, the only problem she has is boredom, which causes her to start the SOS Brigade with the intention of looking for anything out of the ordinary.

It's also in her favor that she's a reality warper, which is ironically the main talent that she has that even she isn't aware of. Then again, her being a reality warper is possibly why she tends to be good at everything.

5 Doraemon: Hidetoshi Dekisugi Exists To Make Nobita Look Bad

Hidetoshi Dekisugi is Nobita's classmate and he's kind of a foil to the lazy main protagonist. He does well in sports and excels in academics. His classmates are even known for calling him up to ask for help and advice. In fact, his name actually means "brilliant over-achiever."

Nobita isn't above using Doraemon's gadgets to make his rival look bad, but it's rare for his tricks to actually work, proving just how gifted he truly is. For his part, Dekisugi surprisingly seems to view Nobita as a friend and even sticks up for him to bullies at times.

4 Kimagure Orange Road: Madoka Has Talents In Everything From Fashion To Fighting

Madoka is talented in nearly everything she tries to do, whether it's school, sports, fashion, dancing, skateboarding, or music. She's also extremely talented as a fighter.

This ironically works against her: people tend to think she's a delinquent when she's actually a kindhearted person willing to defend people from bullies.

3 Sailor Moon: Mamoru Chiba Is A Top Student, A Superhero, & A Future King

Mamoru Chiba is a man of many talents. As Tuxedo Mask, he usually helps give Sailor Moon the support she needs. He has healing powers and is studying to become a doctor. According to the manga, he's a top student at his school, possibly rivaling Ami, and he's shown to have a talent for fencing. Despite being an orphan, he somehow makes enough money to support himself and indulge Usagi. To top it all off, he's also a prince and destined to become the future king of the Earth.

Unfortunately, his charms often get him kidnapped or enslaved by the various female villains of the series, like Queen Beryl, Nehelenia, and, in the manga, even Galaxia.

2 Himouto! Umaru-Chan: Umaru Doma Is Good At Everything Despite Her Slacker Lifestyle

Umaru Doma lives a double life: on the outside, she's a top student who can do anything without any effort and is beloved by most people who know her. Behind closed doors, she's an otaku, but she's also one of Japan's top gamers.

This is a bit surprising, as, despite all of this, she's a slacker who seems outright devoted to laziness and self-indulgence, especially expecting her brother to take care of her. The series never really clarifies how she does it all, leading some fans to suspect she has some unexplained supernatural power.

1 Zombieland Saga: Kotaro Tatsumi Is A Manager Of Many Talents

While many of the girls of Franchouchou are just legendary, perhaps the most gifted character is their manager. Kotaro Tatsumi seems to have a variety of talents when it comes to performing arts, which comes in handy with his scheme to save Saga with a group of zombie idol singers, from arranging their music to skillfully applying stage make-up in a way that lets the girl pass as living humans. His main flaw seems to only be in graphic design.

Added to that, reanimating the dead is also no easy feat, considering he lives in a country where most dead bodies are cremated. That said, it's somewhat implied that he might have had a little help with that.
