Warner Bros.'s animated DC League of Super-Pets movie added a murderer's row of voice talent to its cast.
As announced by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson -- who's voicing Krypto the Superdog -- the cast now includes Kevin Hart as Ace the Bathound along with Kate McKinnon, John Krasinski, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna and Keanu Reeves in undisclosed roles.
A Super-Pets animated film was announced in July 2018, with Jared Stern, the writer of The LEGO Batman Movie and The LEGO Ninjago Movie, attached to write and direct. Stern's past animation work includes Bolt, The Princess and the Frog, Wreck-It Ralph, Meet the Beetles and It's a Small World, while his live-action work can also be seen in Dr. Ken (which he co-created), The Internship, The Watch and Mr. Popper’s Penguins.
Written by Jared Stern and co-directed by Stern and Sam Levine, DC League of Super-Pets stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as Krypto the Superdog, Kevin Hart as Ace the Bathound, Kate McKinnon, John Krasinski, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna and Keanu Reeves. The film arrives in theaters May 20, 2022.
