These heroes happen to be some of the respected figures in the Marvel Universe oftentimes, using their gadgets and weapons to fight evil just as efficiently as their powered peers.

10 Punisher's Vast Arsenal Makes Him A Force To Reckoned With

Punisher is one of Marvel's greatest anti-heroes and the whole reason why is because of his vast arsenal. Unlike other heroes, Punisher hasn't invented some cool armor or anything like that, instead, he depends on good old-fashioned guns and explosives. Using skills honed in war and as a cop, Punisher does an amazing job with what he has.

Punisher's use of weapons has evened up the odds with all kinds of enemies, including the superheroes who sometimes take exception to his bloody battle against crime. The fact that he's been so successful over the years is a testament to how skilled he is with his weapons.

9 Hawkeye's Trick Arrows Even Up The Odds With Many Foes

Hawkeye puts himself through a lot in his fight against evil- he's a normal guy with a bow and arrow fighting all kinds of powerful foes, both as an Avenger and on his own. His skill with a bow and arrow is unparalleled but simple bladed arrows don't always cut it, so he has a whole arsenal of specialized arrows.

Hawkeye's trick arrows even up the odds with his foes- he has flare arrows, sonic arrows, explosive arrows, and all kinds of other ones. When one fights the kind of foes he does, they need an edge, and Hawkeye's trick arrows give him that.

8 Hank Pym's Entire Career Was Based On Things He Invented

Hank Pym is one of the first heroes of the Marvel Universe, using his intellect to create inventions that allowed him to become a superhero. Creating Pym Particles, which allow him to shrink and grow, he also made a helmet that allowed him to communicate with ants to become the first Ant-Man. On top of that, he also invented mechanisms that allowed Wasp to fire her wasp stings and fly.

From there, he would create the Yellowjacket costume that would allow him to fly and fire energy blasts as well. Later, he would just go by Hank Pym and use shrunk equipment to fight evil. Without Pym's gadgets, he never would have been a superhero.

7 Scott Lang's Time As Ant-Man Wouldn't Be Possible Without Pym's Inventions

Scott Lang was the second Ant-Man, taking over for Pym while he was Yellowjacket. Just like when Pym was Ant-Man, Lang uses the Pym Particles to shrink and grow and the helmet that Pym created to communicate with ants. Over the years, Lang has made the mantle his own, helping out the Fantastic Four and joining the Avengers.

Scott Lang is a very different Ant-Man than Hank Pym was. He's funnier and easier to get along with but much like his predecessor, he depends completely on gadgets for all of his powers and abilities.

6 Mach-X's Armor Allowed Him To Be One Of The Thunderbolts' Best Members

The Thunderbolts started out as villainous members of the Masters of Evil. Led by Baron Zemo, the team pretended to be heroes and one of them was Mach-1, formerly known as the Beetle. The Mach-1 armor would go through an evolution over the years until it became Mach-X armor, a much more powerful version of the armor.

5 Night Thrasher's Armor And Weapons Let Him Keep Up With The Rest Of The New Warriors

The New Warriors are Marvel's forgotten teen team and it's filled with powerful members like Nova, Namorita, and Speedball. However, one of the team's most clutch members was their field leader, Night Thrasher. Night Thrasher had no powers but he did have armor to protect him from harm and weapons that allow him to hang with the big boys.

While his armor wasn't Iron Man level, it helped him in his battles alongside the New Warriors. It was easy to get overshadowed on the team as one of the few without powers but his gadgets evened things up for him.

4 Guardian's Super Suit Made Him One Of Canada's Greatest Heroes

The US has multiple superteams but their neighbors to the North had only one. Alpha Flight has long been Canada's premiere superteam and their leader is Guardian. Guardian doesn't have any powers, instead, he relies on a super suit that gives him a variety of powers. These include flight, super strength, and the ability to fire powerful energy blasts.

Guardian used his super suit to defend Canada from all kinds of foes, eventually bringing his wife into the mix by granting her a super-suit like his and giving her the code name Vindicator. Guardian is one of Canada's greatest heroes and it's all because of his super suit.

3 Ironheart Created Her Own Powerful Armor

Riri Williams was a child prodigy and when Iron Man was thought dead, she created a suit of armor like his to become Ironheart. She was able to backward engineer Iron Man's Mark 41 armor using materials stolen from her university, proving a fitting recipient of Tony Stark's legacy. With her armor, she joined up with the young heroes of the Champions, helping the teen heroes make a name for themselves.

Ironheart's armor allowed her to battle all kinds of foes and her amazing intelligence made her a tinkerer, much like Iron Man before her. She stepped up when Iron Man was out of the picture and made a name for herself.

2 War Machine's Armor Took Advantage Of His Unique Skills

James Rhodes was a veteran of the Air Force before going to work for Tony Stark. He eventually took Stark's place as Iron Man and proved how good he could be in the armor. When Stark came back, he built his friend his own armor, a suit that took advantage of his military background.

While it enhanced his strength and used the same repulsor tech as Iron Man's armor, the War Machine armor also was armed with more conventional weapons like a Gatling gun and missiles. This allowed him to create his own heroic legacy and take his place among the Avengers.
