While he has one of the keenest minds in all of DC and is one of its best fighters, Batman still has a glaring disadvantage. He's a human going to war against gods and monsters who are more than happy to kill him as slowly and painfully as possible. As such, expecting the unexpected is key.
Batman has plans and strategies for scenarios that literally no one else ever sees coming, even to deal with some of his closest allies. But that's a big part of what makes Batman who he is. That, and an almost infinite supply of money.
10 Punching Zatanna In The Throat
Trying to deal with Zatanna is difficult for anyone in DC. She is an incredibly powerful sorceress who has eclipsed even the might of her own father. Zatanna is a formidable opponent for pretty much every hero and villain who might want to face her.
Without question, Zatanna outpowers Batman. As such, he has developed an incredibly intricate plan to deal with her. Batman's plan is to punch her in the throat. It's low-tech but effective considering that she needs to talk to implement her spells.
9 Reprogramming Red Tornado
The Red Tornado has long been one of the most respected heroes around. He has served as a member of the Justice League on multiple occasions and actually became the de facto guardian of the first Young Justice team.
All of that being said, dealing with him was not difficult for Batman to sort out. It's a two-step plan that involves knocking Red Tornado out with an EMP and then reprogramming him. From there, it would be smooth sailing.
8 Infecting Wonder Woman With Nanites
Fighting Wonder Woman is a bad idea for pretty much everyone. She has the power of Superman and the combat training of Batman. On top of that, she has no problem pulling a sword and outright stabbing someone if the moment calls for it.
Batman does not have what it takes to beat Wonder Woman one-on-one in a straight-up fight. That's why he needs to be ready. When the time comes to defeat Wonder Woman, Batman has nanites prepared to dose her with. They will inhibit her powers and bring her down to his level.
7 Making Aquaman Hydrophobic
Those same nanites also serve another purpose. Like Wonder Woman, Aquaman is stronger than Batman and possibly equals him in the hand-to-hand combat department. On top of that, he can swim really, really fast. That's a specific talent but it does give him an edge.
But the nanites once again give Batman an edge in this fight. This batch is programmed to make Aquaman hydrophobic, removing him from the element that makes him more powerful than the Caped Crusader. Wherever Batman is getting these nanites, he's hopefully getting some kind of bulk deal.
6 Getting Starfire Addicted To Drugs
This is easily the darkest out of all of Batman's plans. Facing Starfire is no easy task. She can fly, she's invulnerable, and she's incredibly strong. If that's not enough, she can also shoot devastating energy blasts.
While Starfire was in prison on her homeworld, they kept her docile by keeping her addicted to drugs. And if she gets out of control on Earth, Batman plans to do the same. As previously stated, it is an incredibly dark plan, even by Batman's standards.
5 Freezing And/Or Melting Plastic Man
Plastic Man and Batman have an interesting relationship. Eel O'Brian absolutely drives Batman nuts. At the same time, they work incredibly well together in the field and have completed a number of cases together.
Despite the fact that they have this connection, it doesn't mean that Batman isn't ready for Plastic Man to go criminal, again. His shape-shifting powers are susceptible to both extreme heat and cold. Basically, Batman is going to take Plastic Man out the same way the T-1000 was defeated in T2.
4 Attacking The Flash With Extreme Cold
The Flash presents an incredible threat to Batman. His connection to the Speed Force gives him a level of power that Batman can barely hope to combat. Even Superman doesn't quite match The Flash when it comes to outright speed.
Batman's best move is to turn the temperature way down. The cold will hopefully slow him to the point that Batman can get a punch or two in. And if that doesn't completely work, it might be time to break out the nanites.
3 Hypnotizing The Green Lantern
A Green Lantern's power is reliant on something more than their rings. They are powered by the sheer force of their respective wills. And without that, there is no Green Lantern Corps. That means Batman has more to worry about than just emerald green constructs. As long as they have the will, they have the power.
That's where hypnosis comes in. Regardless of which Green Lantern he faces, planting a post-hypnotic suggestion that disconnects the focus required to use their will eliminates their rings. It's a similar concept to the "neural chaff" Prometheus used on Kyle Rayner the first time he faced the Justice League.
2 Making Martian Manhunter Sweat Fire
While a lot of people talk about Superman and Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter is likely the toughest hero in the Justice League. He has the abilities of Superman as well as shape-shifting, telepathy, and more.
But to go along with that power is a massive weakness. Specifically, he's vulnerable to fire. Batman's plan revolves around injecting Martian Manhunter with a compound that will cause his sweat to become flammable when it touches air. That should take care of him quite handily.
1 Taking Down Superman With More Than Kryptonite
Superman is simultaneously Batman's greatest friend and ally as well as potentially his greatest enemy. If the Man of Steel ever goes over to the Dark Side, the rest of the heroes in DC will be looking to Batman to deal with the problem. And he's more than ready.
Not surprisingly, Batman has a healthy stash of Kryptonite on hand. But he's also prepared with hyper-sonics, electrical attacks, mystical weapons, and any other weakness Batman could possibly take advantage of. He'd kidnap Lois Lane if he thought it would give him an edge.
