Apex Legends Developer Working on New Single-Player Project | CBR

Developer Respawn Entertainment, known for Apex Legends, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Titanfall, among other things, is setting out to make a new single-player game, and is looking for experienced designers to join them.

According to Respawn's Creative Director Mohammad Alavi, prospective designers will be joining "a small, but ambitious team with a history of dreaming big and making splashes" as they work to develop a brand new single-player adventure. The team is currently looking for experienced candidates to fill the roles of Lead Technical Game Designer, Senior Technical Game Designer, Senior Combat Designer and Senior Level Designer.

Respawn Entertainment is best-known for its online battle royale shooter Apex Legends, which has become one of EA Games' biggest titles since its release two years ago. Alavi himself is the creator of Titanfall 2's Viper and has already updated his Twitter bio to include this "unannounced singleplayer title."

Between previous evidence suggesting a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and the recent announcement of Apex Legends Season 10: Emergence, Respawn seems to be juggling several projects at once, with this upcoming single-player project adding to the pile. There are no concrete details for the game yet, although there is speculation that this new project may be the new IP for which Respawn was looking for a coder earlier this year.
