Marvel Debuts Avengers-themed Disney Cruise Attraction | CBR

Marvel Entertainment has revealed a new cruise attraction named, "Avengers: Quantum Encounter," set to debut aboard one of Disney's cruises.

In a new clip Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige introduced a first look at the "Worlds of Marvel," coming to the Disney Wish, the newest Disney Cruise Line ship. The teaser then brought in both the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Ant-Man and The Wasp, appearing to make one family dinner aboard the ship even more exciting. The attraction will launch in summer 2022.

Both Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne are set to return in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Production on the the third Ant-Man film began in June. While few details have been released, as is expected from Marvel Studios' projects, it is known that Michelle Pfeiffer is set to return, reprising her role as Janet van Dyne, who returned from the Quantum Realm after thirty years, thanks to Hank Pym, Hope and Scott, emerging from her predicament with new powers.

It was also revealed that actor Jonathan Majors will play Kang the Conqueror, the upcoming film's antagonist. Additionally, Cassie Lang, will be played by Kathryn Newton, the third actor to portray Scott's daughter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Directed by Peyton Reed, Marvel Studios' Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne/The Wasp, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne, Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang and Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror. The film arrives in theaters Feb. 17, 2023.
