Sony Pictures has released a violent red band trailer for Don't Breathe 2 starring Stephen Lang.
The sequel is set years after the events of the 2016 film and finds Stephen Lang's Norman Nordstrom living with Madelyn Grace's Phoenix. However, soon the sins from Norman's past come back to haunt him.
Don't Breathe 2's trailer kicks off with Phoenix running through the woods as she's chased by a ferocious dog. We later jump back in time to see her ask Norman if she can finally be allowed to go into town. "You need to pass all your tests," he says. However, once the blind Norman is able to get the jump on Phoenix from behind and take her gun, he decides she has failed the test.
We later see that three men have discovered Norman's new home, and are set out to kill the old man. Phoenix shows she's taken her lessons from Norman to heart, as she's able to evade the intruders by hiding inside the old house. This leaves Norman to take down each man by himself in an impressive display of violence.
Directed by Rodo Sayagues, Don't Breathe 2 premieres Aug. 13 exclusively in theaters.
