Ryan Reynolds Shares His 'Predictions' for Marvel's Movie Lineup

Marvel Studios recently added four new films to its release slate, to be released across 2024. Unfortunately, the movie titan did not unveil the titles assigned to these dates and the mystery has every fan, journalist and, apparently, actor throwing in their best guesses as to what those films could be.

Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds joined in on the guessing on social media in his famously facetious style, throwing out names like "Fantastic 1," "Weekend at Blind Al's," "Fantastic 2" and others, poking fun at speculation that one of those untitled projects is Fantastic Four.

Disney recently announced the release dates for four feature films set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The films will be released on Feb. 16, May 3, July 26, and Nov. 8, 2024. No titles were provided and it is unknown if these films are planned sequels or new properties. This is on top of the two currently untitled films set for July 23 and Oct. 6, 2023, following the release of Guardians of the Galaxy 3.

This has been an uncertain time for Marvel Studios. The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has forced a number of delays throughout virtually every stage of production for upcoming projects. In order to cope, Disney experimented with hybrid releases. That appears to be ending with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, which evidently proved the continued viability of exclusive theatrical releases, ensuring Eternals will be released in theaters and on schedule on Nov. 5.
