Foundation embraces some heady topics, even by science-fiction standards. However, the show never loses sight of its characters throughout the Apple TV+ series' intricate narrative. Notably, Foundation focuses on Salvor Hardin (Leah Harvey), the Warden of Terminus. Amidst working for the Foundation project -- a plan to preserve human civilization ahead of a predicated dark age --, Hardin commits to the stewardship of her friends and family.
Ahead of Foundation's upcoming fourth episode on Apple TV+, CBR received an exclusive clip featuring Hardin during a time of uncertainty at the work that lies ahead of them.
The clip is taken from Foundation Season 1, Episode 4, "Barbarians at the Gate." Within the first-look clip, Hardin finds themselves overwhelmed with the difficult choices ahead to protect their friends and family. However, a little encouragement from their lover Hugo (Daniel MacPherson) goes a long way -- and it seems that all the predictions and logic in the world can't inspire someone as much as kind words from a loved one.
