Superman and The Flash Join Secretlab's DC Universe Chair Series

Secretlab unveiled the latest products in its range of DC Comics-themed chairs, sporting the color palettes and designs of both Superman and The Flash.

Launched in conjunction with DC FanDome 2021, this latest DC Comics and Secretlab collaboration sees Barry Allen and Clark Kent turned into chairs. The collection, which also features chairs designed around Batman and The Joker, is now available in the Secretlab 2022 Series and comes in Small, Regular and Extra Large sizes. Both of the news designs are featured on the Secretlab TITAN Evo 2022, the award-winning chair that the company says boasts, "personalized support and performance."

The Superman variant pays homage to the House of El with "storm blue" upholstery and a "metallic red" shield with silver accents adorned the center of the backrest. As for The Flash's chair, it's clad in a "deep garnet red" material and features detailed lightning accents.

"The epic stories of the DC Super Heroes have always been deeply intertwined so we knew we wanted an equally epic lineup of chairs to supercharge the experience for fans as they dive into the DC Universe," said Ian Ang, co-founder and CEO of Secretlab. "Featuring the iconic duo of Superman and The Flash in this latest expansion was an obvious choice. Nothing says an immersive experience like reading your favorite DC comic or playing DC video games in a Secretlab chair inspired by a beloved DC character, and this just the start of all the exciting stuff we've got planned for the fans!"

While Secretlab has dabbled in various superhero and (villain) themed chairs, it's also cast a much wider net. In May 2021, the company announced a Game of Thrones crossover to celebrate the HBO series' tenth anniversary. The chair features black upholstery and sports the show's logo, in gold, on the backrest.

The announcement of the chairs comes days before DC FanDome 2021, the annual event held to celebrate DC Comics and its multimedia products. A variety of trailers have already been released for the event, highlighting new looks at The Batman, Black Adam, Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, to name but a few properties.

DC FanDome 2021 takes place on Oct. 16 and will be live-streamed around the world. Both the Superman and Flash chairs will retail for $529 USD.
