In Season 2 of See, Baba Voss (Jason Momoa) has barely managed to escape the clutches of Trivantes and his wicked brother, Edo (Dave Bautista). And while it took a lot of bloodshed, thankfully, he's connected his rescued daughter, Haniwa, with Paris and the Compass, hoping they can all get back to Pennsa to reunite their family and take Princess Maghra away. However, as their journey takes another drastic turn by reviving a key hero, things aren't looking good for a key member of the fellowship.
As Baba, Haniwa, the Compass warriors and Tamacti Jun (the former Witchfinder) try to get to Pennsa to warn them about Trivantes, they end up taking a brief respite at the forest tribe they met in Season 1. There, they run into Bow Lion, who Paris left because she was injured when they fled Tamacti Jun's savages.
They hide Tamacti Jun on the outskirts of the village and go in to meet the chief, with the tribe being grateful for their presence. However, Tamacti's mentally breaking on the outside, as the guilt of all the folks he slaughtered is haunting him. The fact he killed for Queen Kane, who murdered his kids years before, makes matters even worse, and he eventually tries to offer himself to the village as a sacrifice.
Baba stops him from revealing that information, however, because they need him to get to Pennsa. But Bow Lion figures out their secret, and to her, it's a nasty one because his genocide took her family. She warns Baba they need to leave in the morning, feeling betrayed and holding no sympathy for Tamacti's redemption. Even Paris admits while she's glad he's trying to atone, there's too much blood in his ledger, and once they're in the clear, whether it's via Baba or Kane, death is something he deserves
Eventually, they depart, as they know staying around the tribes would be dangerous. However, Bow Lion joins them, claiming she wants to be with them and Maghra again. And sure, they're the only remnant of the Alkenny left, but Bow Lion seems to have ulterior motives. Now, as they move forward, she'll have the chance to turn on them and take Tamacti out if she sees fit.
