Best Disney+ Day Trailers, From Obi-Wan Kenobi to She-Hulk | CBR

To commemorate its second anniversary, Disney+ has rolled out a huge wave of announcements and first looks at its original programming slated to debut next year and beyond as the premium streaming service expands its slate of exclusive content. From animated series revivals and spinoffs to the next stage of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there was plenty to keep fans' interest piqued at what the digital platform has coming next.

Here are the 10 best teasers, promos and sneak peeks unveiled during Disney+ Day as the premium streaming service prepares to expand to new heights in 2022 with plenty of impressive original television and feature film programming to keep audiences coming back for more.

Baymax, the adorably inflatable robot from Big Hero 6, stars in his own eponymous spinoff series coming Summer 2022. With stars Scott Adsit and Maya Rudolph reprising their respective roles as Baymax and Aunt Cass, the upcoming series has Baymax help Cass run her restaurant while assisting those around the neighborhood with their daily activities in his usual hilarious fashion.

While initially planned as a spinoff television series, Ice Age is getting a sixth film on Disney+ with Ice Age: Adventures of Buck Wild. The upcoming animated film has the weasel Buck join Crash and Eddie as they explore Dinosaur World, braving everything from ravenous dinosaurs to giant spiders as they delve deeper into this tropical land that time forgot with plenty of comedic hijinks along the way.

Directed by John C. Donkin and starring Simon Pegg, Ice Age: Adventures of Buck Wild premieres Jan. 28.

The MCU is about to get its darkest, most violent superhero yet with a teaser trailer providing a first look at Oscar Isaac in action in Moon Knight. Revealing a Marc Spector clearly at odds with his own brutal impulses, the teaser footage offers glimpses of Spector in his eerie, pale costume, leaping between building rooftops in the light of the moon and savagely striking anyone deemed a target for the fist of Khonshu.

While Ms. Marvel reportedly had its premiere date pushed back, Disney+ Day revealed that the Marvel Studios miniseries will indeed premiere in Summer 2022, bringing Kamala Khan into the MCU. Teaser footage shared on Disney+ highlighted Kamala's cultural roots while she fashions a makeshift superhero costume modeled after Captain Marvel to defend her hometown of Jersey City with her newfound powers.

Created by Bisha K. Ali, Ms. Marvel stars Iman Vellani, Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Matt Lintz, Zenobia Shroff and Mohan Kapur. 

While no new Star Wars footage was unveiled during Disney+ Day, Obi-Wan Kenobi star Ewan McGregor and director Deborah Chow appeared in a sizzle reel to tease what fans can expect from the upcoming six-episode miniseries. Featuring plenty of concept art and confirming the return of Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader, this previously untold chapter in the Jedi Master's life is coming soon.

It's been 17 years since the fan-favorite Disney animated series The Proud Family wrapped its original series run in 2005, with a revival series The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder coming this February. Reuniting the original main cast, the series follows the adventures of Penny Proud and her family as they contend with daily suburban life. The series introduces new character Maya Leibowitz-Jenkins, a teenage social activist, while a full all-star slate of guest stars joins the ensemble.

Created Ralph Farquhar and Bruce W. Smith, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder starring Karen Malina White, Keke Palmer and Tommy Davidson premieres this February.

Jennifer Walters is officially a part of the MCU, with a teaser trailer from the upcoming She-Hulk television series showing Jen trying to balance her life as a lawyer alongside her gamma-powered alter ego. As her cousin Bruce Banner briefs Jen on the nature of her jade transformation, explaining to her that they are triggered by raw emotions, Jen warns the audience that they won't like her when she's angry.
