Premiering in 2011, Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk's American Horror Story has explored a variety of horror settings and themes across its nine seasons, thanks to the show's unique anthology format. Due to the franchise's enduring popularity, Murphy seeks to traverse more horror content through the upcoming spin-off series, American Horror Stories. With fans eagerly awaiting Season 10 of American Horror Story, which is subtitled Double Feature, the spin-off is a great way to fill the void and get reacquainted with familiar AHS favorites.
Although production is still in its early stages, here's what we know so far about American Horror Stories, including the series' plot, trailer and release date information.
The plot of American Horror Stories has not officially been released. While the spin-off series will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor, its anthology style will take on a different format. As such, each episode is expected to be its own unique ghost story. Murphy recently announced on Instagram that the first casting for American Horror Stories includes Kevin McHale, Dyllon Burnside, Charles Melton and Nico Greetham, which he playfully dubbed "The Fantastic Four." However, Murphy also teased the series will feature well-known, beloved AHS actors.
