Universal Pictures released a teaser for Jurassic World: Dominion's upcoming extended look that features the first footage from the dino threequel.
The clip begins with a shot of ankylosauruses at a watering hole and then cuts to more cretaceous creatures. This footage appears to be from a flashback to when dinosaurs ruled the earth, as evidenced by a feathered reptile.
Shortly after the first photo from Jurassic World: Dominion was released, director Colin Trevorrow shed light on how the film will differ from its predecessors by showing dinosaurs in their element. "Ever since I was a kid, I have wanted to see dinosaurs in their natural habitat," he explained. "It may have taken a few decades, but with a little help from ILM, Universal and Amblin, it has finally happened. This preview is just a glimpse of the film we’ve made. It’s an epic celebration of everything Steven Spielberg and Michael Crichton created, and I can’t wait to share it with the world next summer."
Directed by Colin Trevorrow, Jurassic World: Dominion stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Jake Johnson, Justice Smith, Daniella Pineda, Omar Sy, Isabelle Sermon and B.D. Wong. The film arrives in theaters June 10, 2022.
