WARNING: The following contains spoilers for One Piece Chapter #1017, by Eiichiro Oda, available in English via Manga Plus and Viz Media.
After finally escaping Big Mom's ire, Nami, Tama, and Usopp are shocked to learn that Zeus' soul was able to escape being devoured by Hera and take refuge in Nami's Climate Baton. However, Ulti was still up and furious as she believed that Tama was the reason everything was falling apart. She attacked the child, but Nami and Usopp quickly stepped in to protect her. Bao Huang was nearby, and in her state of shock, she accidentally announced that both Ulti and Page had been knocked out of the fight. This seemingly had an effect on the morale of the Beast Pirates, with them beginning to wonder if fighting was even worth it if two of their strongest had been defeated. Tama took advantage of Bao Huang's ability to speak to the entire island and stepped up to make an announcement of her own. Meanwhile, Yamato was preparing to take on his father in a one-on-one battle until Luffy was able to return.
Tama stands on the balcony of the Performance Stage, ready to make her announcement. Queen shouts at her wondering why a child was in the middle of the battlefield and questioning as to who she was. This sent Tama into a panic attack and she passes out for a moment. Meanwhile, Jimbei is still locked in a fierce battle with Who's-Who, declaring that the Straw Hats always knew they were going to be outnumbered and that it was the job of the samurai and the crew to keep the officers busy. Some of the other Beast Pirates learn that the Pleasures and Waiters on the Performance Floor switched sides. With this, the Gifters begin punishing their former crew mates and attack them.
Nami and Usopp cheer Tama on, giving her the motivation to stand up and shout to everyone that can hear. "To all my friends who ate the Millet Dumplings!! You gotta change sides and fight for Big Bro Luffy and Momonosuke!!!" A panel quickly flashes to Luffy being resuscitated by the Heart Pirates, confirming that they did indeed pull him out of the sea. Another panel reveals that Momonosuke and Shinobu survived Kaido's attempted attack, with Momonosuke crying out of fear because they were "so high up" and because of the loss of Kikunojo and Kine'mon.
Tama's order triggers something within the fighters who ate the dumplings, as they all suddenly begin turning on their own men. One of the Gifters, Briscola, begins swatting at the other Beast Pirates. "Your wish is my command, Master!!!" The sudden infighting leaves the others in a confused state. An audio message from the Fourth Floor confirms that Poker the Headliner has also begun siding with the Straw Hats. Another message from the Second Floor comes in, followed by another confirming Gifters all over the island that heard Tama's order have begun betraying their crew.
Realizing that Tama's order was what caused the infighting, Queen readies an attack on the balcony where she, Nami, and Usopp are standing. However, Sanji launches a Collier Strike onto Queen's head, causing the dino's attack to fizzle out. Queen curses at him, referring to him as "Judge's son," which Sanji takes exception to. The chef asks him if he's a part of his father's research team, with Queen confirming that he was indeed part of the Mads. He then changes into his Man-Beast form, revealing that he is also a cyborg, asking, "Was that supposed to be a secret?!!"
Sanji quickly checks in on Chopper, who is suffering "Baby Geezer", a side-effect of the Rumble Ball. Even though his body is tiny and worn out from fighting, Chopper asks Miyagi if it was true he had a medicine that has ultra-regenerative properties, which the doctor does confirm, but cautions that it's only temporary and that Chopper would suffer twice as much later. Chopper insists on being given the medicine, focusing on what's happening at the current moment. Zolo echoes this sentiment, saying that the only thing that matters right now is the fight at hand.

Back on the Fourth Floor, Jimbei and Who's-Who are still going head to head. Who's-Who launches an attack, but Jimbei counters it. Who's-Who tries a kick attack, but the Fish-Man is able to block that as well. Jimbei asks, "Should I call this Iron Body, then?" He notes that Who's-Who powers are those of government agents, recalling a story about an agent of the secret CP9 that escaped from jail. He also finds it strange that a government agent would even be in prison to begin with.
Who's-Who confirms that it was him who had escaped, calling the action that sent him to prison 12 year's ago a "mistake." He also brags that he was seen as having as much potential as Rob Lucci. He launches another Fang Pistol at Jimbei, but he sidesteps it. Jimbei explains that he had never seen those powers before and he pities the Beast Pirate, but that he has nothing to do with his opponent's fate. Who's-Who claims that he's wrong, and reveals that Luffy's Devil Fruit was stolen from a government ship 12 years ago.
