What appears to be the first look at Oscar Isaac's Moon Knight in the upcoming Marvel Studios/Disney+ series has leaked online.
The image, which is currently making the rounds on social media, features a figure donning a rag-like but unmistakably Moon Knight costume while standing in a destroyed bathroom. The words "Property of MARVEL" appear in bold at the bottom, though the legitimacy is still unclear.
Moon Knight was officially confirmed by Marvel Studios at D23 in 2019. The following year, Isaac was tapped to bring Marc Spector to life, with Ethan Hawke soon joining the project as the main villain.
Despite Isaac's ties to Moon Knight dating back to October 2020, Marvel Studios President/Marvel Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige didn't mention the actor by name during Disney's 2020 Investor Day presentation, which included the official announcements of Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk, Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez, Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel and more. However, in May 2021, Marvel finally broke its silence by sharing an image of Isaac in front of a collage of Moon Knight comic art.
Moon Knight has yet to receive a premiere date.
