10 Buggy's Appearances Have Been Very Limited After The Timeskip

Buggy is one of the first villains that Eiichiro Oda introduced in One Piece. After losing to Luffy, he went on quite an adventure and ended up returning to the Grand Line, but he was caught by the Marines and imprisoned in Impel Down. Consequently, Buggy played a major role in the Impel Down and Marineford arcs of the story, but ever since then, his role has been extremely limited. Buggy has not done anything worthwhile for around 500 episodes in the story now.

9 Gin Never Showed Up After Leaving Baratie

Gin was a secondary antagonist in One Piece's Baratie arc. His debut saw him form a great bond with Sanji who, out of kindness, fed him and saved him from dying of starvation. Gin returned with his pirate crew and a massive fight ensued on the East Blue's seagoing restaurant which ended in the cooks' victory, thanks to Luffy. Eventually, Gin left the restaurant and promised to meet Luffy and Sanji again in the Grand Line at some point. So far, Gin hasn't made another appearance.

8 Dadan's Role Is Limited To Flashbacks And Intermissions

Dadan is a mountain bandit who raised Luffy, Ace, and Sabo together. She was first mentioned by Portgas D. Ace, moments before he died and then fleshed out in Luffy's flashback following the events of the Marineford arc. Although Dadan is a very lovable character, she barely makes an appearance in the anime. Her role is very limited to cover stories in the manga, and after the intermission of the Wano Country arc, fans got to see a glimpse of her once again.

7 Urouge Is One Of The Few Worst Generation Members To Not Get Screentime

Urouge is one of the 11 pirates with a bounty of over 100 million berries who gathered on Sabaody Archipelago before the two-year timeskip. As a pirate belonging to the Worst Generation, Urouge is quite impressive.

Following the events of the Sabaody Archipelago arc and the conclusion of the Marineford War, Urouge entered the New World and was seen heading towards Raijin Island. Later, he appeared shortly before Kaido attempted suicide. Since then Urouge hasn't been seen despite being one of the most famed next-generation pirates.

6 Scopper Gaban Appears Only In Oden's Flashback

Scopper Gaban was the left-hand man of the Pirate King and one of the most important people on his crew. Although his name was revealed quite early by Oda, it wasn't until the Oden flashback in the anime that fans got a proper look at him. Gaban was revealed to be extremely loyal to Roger and was one of his strongest fighters, just like Rayleigh. Strangely enough, while Rayleigh has been involved in the plot, Gaban has hardly appeared in the anime so far.

5 Jewelry Bonney Is An Intriguing Pirate With Mysterious Origins

Bonney is a pirate from South Blue who is also a member of the Worst Generation, just like Luffy. She was introduced on Sabaody Archipelago like the other Supernovas, but her role since has been very limited. Bonney is an extremely intriguing character and has connections to Bartholomew Kuma, the former King of South Blue's Sorbet Kingdom. What's more, after the Paramount War, Akainu mentioned that she has a history with the Celestial Dragons as well. She was last seen at the Reverie after infiltrating Mariejois.

4 Boa Hancock Has Hardly Appeared In The Story After The Timeskip

Boa Hancock, also known as the Pirate Empress, is one of the most popular characters in the story despite being hardly involved in the main story. She first appeared in the Amazon Lily arc and was featured throughout the Paramount War Saga.

3 Dracule Mihawk Is Waiting For Zoro At The Top

Dracule Mihawk is known as the strongest swordsman in One Piece and he made his debut during the Baratie arc. There, he clashed against Roronoa Zoro and, impressed with his showing, made him a rival of his. Mihawk has since then been seen on rare occasions, such as the Paramount War. Just like Hancock, he appeared shortly after the Reverie and revealed a possibility to leave Kuraigana Island with the Marines closing in on him.

2 Monkey D. Dragon Remains A Huge Mystery To Date

Dragon is Luffy's father and the leader of the Revolutionary Army. In the entirety of One Piece, he's only made a handful of appearances, which just goes to show how limited his role has been. That's not to say that Dragon isn't important, however. In fact, Dragon is one of the most crucial characters in the story, and as the series progresses, fans are likely to see more of him. Unfortunately, now isn't the time for him to take the stage.

1 Shanks Desperately Needs To Be On Screen More

Shanks made his first appearance in One Piece's Romance Dawn arc and he proved to be the key to the beginning of the story by setting Luffy on the path to becoming the Pirate King. Shanks is incredibly powerful and has many mysteries surrounding him, but fans don't know the answer to any of them as he has rarely appeared ever since that first time. After the Wano Country arc, more focus will likely be given to his character.
