There are plenty of foundational anime series that debut to rabid acclaim, only to progressively accumulate even more passionate fans through the years, like the excitement that’s taken over the audience for Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball. Dragon Ball is a defining shonen series that’s influenced countless series that have followed, including fellow anime phenomena, Naruto. Dragon Ball regularly engages in unbelievable transformations and incredible demonstrations of power.
Naruto Uzumaki’s Rasengan energy attacks are the basis of his phenomenal powers. Naruto as his various Rasengan skills are extremely dangerous, but there are a number of maneuvers from Dragon Ball that would leave them neutralized.
10 Hakai Is The Ultimate Tool Of Destruction
Dragon Ball has slowly added new and more powerful celestial deities who govern the series' universe. Dragon Ball Super brings Gods of Destruction into the mix, who have a signature attack known as Hakai. Hakai is the sheer essence of destruction, and it's where these legendary figures' name originates. There's basically no counter for Hakai, and once it starts, it will result in the target's erasure. It's only supposed to be used in emergencies because of its deadly impact. Naruto wouldn't even be able to react before he's erased from existence.
9 100X Big Bang Kamehameha Is The Culmination Of Two Super Warriors
Love it or hate it, fusion has become a major component to Dragon Ball that's not going away anytime soon. There's an understandable appeal in combining together the strength, and attacks, of two characters who are already deadly, like Goku and Vegeta. The 100X Big Bang Kamehameha clears out everything in its path when it's used by Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta in Dragon Ball GT. Arguably, Vegito's Final Kamehameha is just as intimidating, too. Regardless of which fused combination Goku and Vegeta bring to Naruto, they're likely still going to overwhelm him with their combined powers.
8 Frieza’s Supernova Attack Reduces Planets To Rubble
Dragon Ball has established a ton of threats that build notorious reputations for themselves throughout the universe, but one of the most feared tyrants in the series is undoubtedly Frieza. Frieza acts like the galaxy is his playground to treat however he sees fit, which frequently results in the destruction of entire planets.
Frieza is blessed to have many powerful energy techniques, as well as intimidating transformations, but it's hard to top his Supernova death ball. This attack is Frieza's favorite tool for planet demolition and so even some of Naruto's most resilient Rasengan techniques would fall short here.
7 Broly’s Omega Blaster Is Designed To Eradicate Earth
Broly officially enters the continuity in Dragon Ball Super: Broly. Broly, perceived as the Legendary Super Saiyan, displays unfathomable power with his Omega Blaster, which he's able to refine and make even stronger in Broly - Second Coming. The whole point of this massive attack is to destroy the Earth, and Broly would have accomplished this if not for Goku and company's intervention. As strong as Rasengan is, it's not going to knock the Earth off its axis or completely consume the planet. Naruto also lacks Broly's festering rage towards Earth.
6 The Spirit Bomb Can Turn Into The Supreme Assembly Of Power
Goku has learned many helpful tricks throughout Dragon Ball, but his Spirit Bomb is often his final gambit to end a battle. Admittedly, a Spirit Bomb is only as strong as the number of life forces that are around to draw power from. However, Goku seems to often be able to get as much power as he needs, and the result is a planet-sized energy burst that typically consumes everything in its path. There have been a few exceptions where enemies successfully repel a Spirit Bomb, but with ideal conditions it would completely swallow up Naruto and his retaliatory attacks.
5 Vegeta's Gamma Burst Can Bring Immortals To Their Knees
Dragon Ball Super is a bit of an anomaly since its manga follows the anime, but it's gone on to surpass the anime's narrative and get into new territory. Occasionally an attack will appear in one, yet not the other. This is the case with one of Vegeta's deadliest techniques, the Gamma Burst.
This attack is a manga exclusive that actually does succeed in killing Zamasu, only he's able to quickly reassemble himself because of his immortal status. If Gamma Burst can make this much of an impact on someone who is immortal, then Naruto wouldn't stand a chance here.
4 Jiren’s Omegaheat Magnetron Has The Strength To Hold Back Gods
Competitions are common in Dragon Ball, but the Tournament of Power is a battle royale between the strongest fighters throughout the multiverse, where elimination means absolute erasure. One of the strongest competitors to emerge early on is Universe 11's Jiren. Jiren becomes the main focus of the entirety of Universe 7's pooled efforts, which nearly aren't enough. Jiren's ultimate attack, the Omegaheat Magnetron, is able to hold its own against Goku while he's achieved Ultra Instinct. This essentially means that Jiren's attack is on par with Gods, which is a plateau of power that surpasses Naruto and his Rasengan.
3 Goku's Supreme Kamehameha Is Fueled With The Power Of Ultra Instinct
Anyone who is familiar with Dragon Ball is likely familiar with the series' signature attack, the Kamehameha. This attack has been around forever and it's experienced many powerful upgrades as a result. At the moment, Ultra Instinct Goku's Supreme Kamehameha, also known as the Super Limit Kamehameha, seems like its apex. Once Goku achieves Super Saiyan God status his Kamehameha transcends to Divine Kamehameha and the 10X God Kamehameha, all of which carry divine strength. Naruto has come so far with his abilities, but all of these Kamehameha variations would still come out on top.
2 Vegeta’s Final Explosion Sacrifice Channels All Of His Power Into A Concentrated Burst
Dragon Ball explores life energy and power in some fascinating ways. More often than not, characters will expend their energy through attacks. However, it's also possible to channel all of the remaining energy that's inside of an individual, only to release it as a catastrophic self-destruction maneuver. This is a last-ditch effort that Vegeta pointedly turns to while Majin Vegeta, but Cell employs a similar Gambit against Goku. Naruto and his Rasengan are incredibly strong and can also provide him with crucial defense, but it's unlikely they could withstand this pure explosion of Saiyan power.
1 Future Trunks’ Sword Of Hope Is The Mightiest Blade That’s Ever Been Wielded
Future Trunks returns in Dragon Ball Super and he plays a crucial role against the immortal menace, Fused Zamasu. Zamasu is so powerful that even the efforts of Vegito Blue are in vain. However, what does nearly save the day is Future Trunks' legendary Sword of Hope attack, which ostensibly channels Spirit Bomb energy into his deadly blade. Naruto has lots of experience against similar obstacles, but the Sword of Hope seems nearly impossible to avoid. Perhaps Naruto could get lucky with a well-timed Magnet Release Rasengan, but it's slim.
