Kenobi is both loved by fans and by other characters in Star WarsHe has many friends who have helped him along his path. Whether they stayed his friends or betrayed him, in the end, is a different matter entirely.

7 Bail Organa Was A Political Assets

Bail Organa was a Republic senator, a founder of the Rebellion, and a good friend to Obi-Wan. During the Age of The Republic, Organa was a solid supporter of the Jedi in the senate, even after the Emperor disclosed their alleged betrayal. When Obi-Wan needed him most, he came to the rescue of Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Padmé. His greatest service was adopting Leia and helping to hide her from Darth Vader.

6 Commander Cody Led The 212th

Commander Cody served under Obi-Wan as the clone leader of the 212th Attack Battalion. He went through the Clone Wars as Obi-Wan's right-hand man, leading countless ground assaults on every world they landed on. Obi-Wan considered him a close ally and friend, right up until Order 66. As soon as the order came through, Cody turned on him, attacking and trying to kill Kenobi. Fortunately, Kenobi survived, but Cody's fate after Order 66 had him involved with serving the Empire and enslaving the Wookies.

5 Captain Rex Worked With The Jedi Better Than Any Clone

Even though Captain Rex worked more with Anakin, He and Obi-Wan still fought alongside each other quite a bit. Rex was the leader of the 501st, a famous clone battalion. The 501st fell under the Jedi command of Anakin Skywalker, which means the 501st and 212th worked together a lot. Alongside Commander Cody, Rex developed many protocols for the Republic and helped Obi-Wan and Anakin infiltrate and takedown many high-value targets. Captain Rex is one of the few clones to remain loyal to the Jedi after Order 66.

4 Padmé Was A Close Friend

Padmé Amidala was a firm supporter of the Jedi. She has been helping Obi-Wan ever since he was a Padawan. As the Queen of Naboo and then a senator, she supported ending the Clone Wars and trying to find a peaceful resolution.

This went along with the Jedi philosophies even if most of the Jedi had put that aside in order to lead in the war. At the end of her life, She entrusted Obi-Wan with protecting her children and saving her husband, Anakin Skywalker. She trusted Obi-Wan and even wanted to seek his help earlier in her pregnancy. Obi-Wan and Padmé were close friends who could have helped each other more if not for the secrets that kept them apart.

3 Ahsoka Tano Helped Him Out Of Many Problems

Ahsoka Tano became the Padawan to Anakin Skywalker during the Clone Wars. She went everywhere with Anakin and Obi-Wan learning much from both of them. When Mandalore was under the control of Darth Maul, Obi-Wan believed in Ahsoka and that she could help the Republic and Mandalorian's regain control of their planet. Both in and out of the Jedi Order, Ahsoka stuck by Obi-Wan and Anakin. As much as Anakin was her master, Obi-Wan acted as a second mentor and another person for her to look up to. She became more powerful and continue to serve the light side through the Age of Rebellion.

2 Anakin Was A Brother Too Him

One of the most beloved and devastating friendships in Star Wars is Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. Starting out as an unlikely pair after the death of Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan agreed to train Anakin long before anyone believed he was ready too. They became an inseparable pair, brothers in all but blood. They had each other's back throughout the Clone Wars. This is why it was so devastating when Anakin turned to the dark side. Doing what he believed to be the only way to save Padmé, Anakin embraced the darkness and turned against his brother. He forced Obi-Wan to maim him, leaving him to die on Mustafar. What was once the closest friendship became the bitterest vendetta. Obi-Wan felt like a failure for losing his friend to the dark side.

1 Yoda Is A Powerful Jedi, Mentor, And Friend

Jedi Master Yoda, along with Obi-Wan, was one of the last surviving Jedi after Order 66. Throughout the Age of the Republic, Yoda was a confidant, mentor, and friend to Obi-Wan. After the death of Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-wan was promoted to Jedi Knight and took on Anakin as a Padawan. He leaned on Yoda for wisdom on how to train his new Padawan. Even when the Jedi Order had fallen and Yoda was in exile, Obi-Wan trusted him to train Luke in the same ways he had trained other Jedi for centuries. Yoda helped Obi-Wan in many ways, even putting him in contact with Qui-Gonn and helping him learn to conquer death.
